Now we came up with some scientific fact about industrial hemp for you which can’t be ignored:
  • Industrial hemp and cannabis, marijuana both are classified by taxonomists and as a species with hundreds of varieties. 
  • Industrial Cannabis or C.sativa is a member of the mulberry family.
  • The varieties of marijuana seek to maximize THC while industrial hemp is bred to maximize fiber, seed and oil.
  • Industrial hemp and marijuana look’s alike but they are different because of their THC content.
  • Hemp fibers are longer, stronger, more absorbent and more mildew-resistant in comparison with cotton so cannabis farming or hemp farming is very beneficial for us. Hemp can be made in to a variety of fabrics, including linen quality.

According to scientific research, Industrial hemp has a THC content of between 0.05 and 1% and Marijuana has a THC content of 3% to 20%. To receive a standard psychoactive dose would require a person to power-smoke 10-12 hemp cigarettes over an extremely short period of time. The large volume and high temperature of vapor, gas and smoke would be almost impossible for a person to withstand.

Do you know how papers are made using industrial hemp?



Industrial hemp is a great rotation crop and can be substituted for almost any harvest. This is very beneficial for economic growth and saves environment. There are lots of benefits which are still hidden from us.
Now cannabis cultivation in India also became very popular and Indian government is working to make this legal. In all the benefits which we get from industrial cannabis paper production has also given us tremendous results because it is batter then other produced paper and three times recycles faster than other.

Seven bast fibers are usually used and are put into a spherical tank (digester) with water and chemical. The fibers are separated from each other by heated mixture for up to eight hours at elevated temperature and pressure. The chemical and the extracted binding components (pectin) removed by washing with excess water. 

The clean fibers are then fed into Hollander beater (a machine consist of large tub equipped with a wheel revolving around a horizontal axis). The fiber are cut’s to the desired length after this beating step, which lasts for up to 12 hours and produces the required surfaces  roughness for proper bonding. During this step bleaching chemicals are sometimes added. It is pressed to dryness suitable for transportation after pumping the bleached pulp in the paper.
